Ask me all about tadpoles!!! Tadpoles and frogs are Living Things. In Science, we are learning about plants and animals. We are comparing the characteristics between living and non-living things.

Our tadpoles are living things. We know this because they move, they grow, they reproduce (well, they will when they become frogs!), and they react to stimuli. We are having so much fun observing them!!!

Ask me all about Math Workshop!!! We used a new app called Big Numbers. We worked in teams, building quantities to match our iPads. It was SO FUN!!!!

Ask me all about Shared Reading!  We are enjoying the story Caps For Sale, by Esphyr Slobodkina.  We have been laughing, retelling, and working with the book all week!  It is a tale about a peddler, some monkeys, and their monkey business.  Some of us love the story so much that we asked to bring a copy home to read and share with you!!!

Ask me all about Math Workshop!  We played a new game today called Making Twenty Together!  We had so much fun  racing to fill our twenty frames.  Mrs. Brady was AMAZED at our mathematical thinking!  We know how to group amounts and count big quantities with shortcuts!!!

Ask me all about Math Workshop today.  We used our ipads to practice number writing, ordering numbers, and math facts.  Everyone worked on something special, that was just right for them.  We use our iPads every day in Kindergarten.  They are a wonderful tool for learning and we are very thankful that we have them.

Recently, a special reporter came to visit Region 6 and Warren School.  Ms. Andrews loved what she saw so much that she wanted to write an article about all of the wonderful technology being used in RSD6.  Attached please find the link to the April edition of CEA Magagzine...we are so proud to show the world how special our little district is!

Ask me all about Writer's Workshop!  We are reading many mentor texts to help us be persuasive.  Sometimes it is hard to share an opinion or try to convince someone of something.  We have been looking closely at other author's work to help us learn how to be persuasive.  We are also working hard on using the word BECAUSE to explain WHY we think what we think.
