Ask me all about Math Workshop!  Today we shared a story called Christopher Counting, by Valeri Gorbachev.  We started counting EVERYTHING around us...just like Christopher Rabbit.  Our Kinder friends modeled how to point to each object, as we said the numbers in counting order.  It was so fun!
THEN...we got to use a brand new math tool called JUMBO cubes.  We took attendance and made a GIANT cube train.  some of us counted each cube when it was our turn.  Some of us counted on.  Some of us even estimated what our GIANT cube train will look  like tomorrow.   AMAZING!

Ask me all about....my (very hot) first day of school!  
We had tons of fun singing and playing together.  We worked on sharing and listening during Learning Centers.  And our Kinder friends got to have their very first Writer's Workshop before our Early Dismissal!
