Ask me all about our celebration!!!!  We shared our special poetry and sang our favorite song!!  Then we watched a slide show of our year together.  We also made special memory books and autographed them.  It was such a wonderful afternoon!
Thank you Mr. Hibbert, families, and teachers for coming to our little celebration.  And thank you parents for bringing special treats to enjoy together afterwards!!!!  YUM!!!

Ask me all about our bean stalk!!!!  Today we noticed that we have green beans!!! 
3 months ago we planted magic beans...we have been watering and taking very good care of them as the have grown up our window.  Today we counted 9 beans!!!  Maybe there will be more tomorrow!!!

Ask me all about the jog-a thon.  We spent the afternoon outside running laps and having fun!  Together we ran over 200 laps around the Warren School field!!!  We are so  proud of ourselves!!!

Ask me all about the special project we started today!!!  We designed the cover for a Kindergarten Memory book!  We are going to fill it with all kinds of wonderful things!  We can't wait to share them with you at our Kindergarten Celebration on Tuesday, June 18th at 2:30!!!!

Ask me all about our baby Praying Mantids!!!  We have been watching a Praying Mantis egg sac for weeks!!!  And yesterday the mantids started hatching!!!  There are hundreds!!!
We learned that The praying mantis is named for its prominent front legs, which are bent and held together so it looks like they are praying.  Females regularly lay hundreds of eggs in a small case, and the nymphs hatch looking much like tiny versions of their parents.  We think they are so cute!!!!   After it stops raining we are going to release them into the garden.

Ask me all about my day!  It was nothing special...which was fabulous!!!!  No field trip, no special schedule, no guest speakers, no meetings!!!!  It was just us, working, learning, and playing together.  And it was wonderful!!!
We had fabulous Reader's, Writer's and Math Workshops.  We all worked so hard that we had an extra recess to get our wiggles out.  We had so much fun together on the playground.  We even helped each other on the swings!
It was such a nice day!
