Ask me all about my day!  It was so good to be back together after our Thanksgiving Break.  We shared holiday stories, played, counted, read and much, much more!!!  
We also made awesome Zebras out of the letter Zz!!!!  It was so fun!

Ask me all about our favorite ipad apps!   We have some that we love to work on during Learning Centers. Over Thanksgiving break, if we are riding in the car or waiting at the store, maybe I can play a few of them! They are free and can be easily downloaded onto your phone, ipad, or mobile device!  We just love learning!!!

Ask me all about Spanish class!!! Today we went to the gym. We danced and sang and played a new fun game called Rojo (red), Armarillo (yellow), Verde (green)...it is just like Red Light, Green Light! We had SO much fun!!!

Ask me all about our mid-morning Wiggle Break!  Regular brain breaks enhance learning, attentiveness, concentration, and focus. They are also...FUN!!! 
​Sometimes we go outside to play and run on the playground.  But sometimes we stay inside and DANCE!!!  We can have a dance party at home with all of our favorite songs!  Just click on the link below...it takes you to our Wiggle Page!!!

Ask me all about our special guest reader!  Today Mrs. Cupo came down to see us from the Warren Public Library!  We shared a silly Thanksgiving story and we made plans to start walking up to visit her!  We had so much fun!  
Mrs. Cupo even talked about starting a special Pre-K Lunch Bunch for our pre-k friends who leave at 11:35.  Wouldn't that be cool???!!!

 Ask me all about our Number Talk today!  We have a new math tool called the Counting Jar.  Today our Counting Jar was up on the smart board.  We had to count how many cubes were in the jar, create an equivalent group of objects and then label our work.  We knocked Mrs. Brady's socks off!!! We used the language..."equal, equivalent, same amount, more than, and less than"!  Then we moved around the room, making equivalent groups of friends.   It was so fun!!!

Ask me all about Morning Meeting!  Today we learned that we have been together for 50 days!!!  Every day we put a straw in our cup.  When we get to 10 we bundle the straws.  Today we counted 5 bundles...that is 10, 20, 30, 40, 50!  Our Calendar Star helps do all the work.  We even had to write the number 50!!!  It was awesome!  We are half way to 100!!!

Ask me all about the learning table!  Every day, during centers, we get to visit with Mrs. Brady under the learning umbrella.  We rhyme, we count syllables, we write letters and we learn about words.  It is so fun!!!  Today at the learning table we used magnadoodles and we used a special tin with magnetic letters.  We are such hard workers!!!!!!!

Ask me all about Veteran's day!  We wrote special Thank You notes to the Veterans for their service and dedication.  We thanked them for helping our country and saving people's lives.  We also had a wonderful luncheon to celebrate their bravery.  It was amazing!  We sang patriotic songs and had a yummy Thanksgiving meal.  Here are some beautiful pictures from our special day!  Thank you, Veterans!

Ask me all about the word equivalent. It means EQUAL!!!!!!!!!! Today we worked with the Smartboard and our new Counting Jar, making equivalent groups of objects (frogs, ocean animals, and insects!!!)
