Ask me all about our Welcome Buckets! To be honest, we don't spend very much time throughout the day sitting at our tables...but every morning we enjoy some time chatting and exploring with our Welcome Buckets!! While our friends unpack their backpacks, folders & lunchboxes, we get to build, sort, create and share different items. Sometimes, our buckets are filled with new math manipulatives (we call them math tools) that we will be using soon during Math Workshop. This allows us to play with them and check them out BEFORE we use them as tools. And sometimes, our buckets are filled with Literacy manipulatives like magnetic letters, alpha-blocks, books & puzzles!
