We talked about how different things were back then and what Dr. King and many others did to change them.

We also read a special poem called "The Crayon Box that Talked". It was all about a grumpy box of crayons that did not get along. But when they saw what they could make by working together they realized that every one of them are special. We made our own Box of Crayons and we got to pick what color we would be!
