Ask me all about my writing!!! We have been writing stories about our lives. We call them Life Stories. We have been working on sharing lots of details, using colors that help tell the story, and adding letters and labels to "tell more". This week, we have been focusing on how we share our stories. Instead of just listing things in our pictures, we are using Story Starters, like "One day I...","Once I...", "I like to..." and "My family and I..." Story Starters help us become story tellers. They make our writing fun to share!
Today we celebrated our writing by sharing with our Fourth Grade buddies. It was so much fun to show off a little bit. They were very impressed and many of us found out that we had a lot in common! Now that our Writing Folders are empty we will have to fill them up again!!!
